What is Modular Housing?

Modular construction utilizes shipping containers to build a house off-site, under controlled factory conditions, employs identical construction materials and adheres to the same codes and standards as traditionally constructed homes. This method offers many advantages, including less time, more efficiency, high mobility, and lower cost. Houses are created in discrete "modules" which, when assembled on-site, mirror the precise design intentions and specifications of even the most intricately crafted homes built from the ground up.

Time Advantage:

90% of the construction takes place indoors, which means the building process is nearly guaranteed to stay on schedule. That predictability and reliability enable saves 50% time on construction.

Mobility Advantage:

All containers are mobile, they can be transported from one home to another or rotate in different positions in your lot. Live in your ideal vacation home to wherever your next destination holds.

Cost Advantage:

Skilled labor is in short supply for construction. Modular allows skilled workers to remain in fixed locations with controlled and safer conditions. Additionally the overall price is fixed before purchase, avoiding unforeseen expenses.

Efficiency Advantage:

Not only does the interior finishing process occur simultaneously with assembly, but modular construction incorporate the latest innovations and energy efficiency certifications, leading to significant energy savings.

Why Dwellular?

Led by Braden Power, the executive team has over 20 years of experience creating living spaces ranging from the practical to the practically surreal. The most notable projects are from purchasing and rebuilding properties in run-down East Dallas, breathing new life into both the properties and the communities, and building a company that was not only successful but also embodied Braden’s personal manifesto of making a positive impact on the neighborhood. From Casa Bellamini, a luxe high-end home with soaring ceilings and a Natatorium, to the stunning Greenhouse nestled in a lush, private garden oasis,  Braden is redefining the concept of a ‘living space’ and how people interact with their environment.
